PARENTS & STUDENTS : IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

This is not a post we ever wanted to have to make, but unfortunately we need everyone to be extra vigilant when coming to lessons.

We have now been made aware of 3 vehicle break-ins involving cars parked near our building while students were inside for lessons.

PLEASE LOCK YOUR VEHICLES, even if you are only stepping inside for a short time. Do not leave valuables, bags, wallets, electronics, or other visible items inside your vehicle.

Our building is located on E Canal Street, with some families also parking around the back on S Curran Ave. Please be aware of your surroundings when arriving and leaving, especially in the evenings.

We are taking this seriously, and police reports will be filed regarding these incidents and other business cameras are being viewed tomorrow.

Please help us keep our families informed and safe by being extra cautious when coming to and from lessons.

We LOVE our teachers and our students! Recently, Mrs. Colleen heard that one of her students had a dream: to one day play a Steinway piano.
Well… Mrs. Colleen has a few connections!

Today, we were able to surprise Nolan by taking his lesson to Pearl River Community College, where he got the opportunity to sit down at a beautiful Steinway in the Brownstone and have his lesson right there!

These are the moments that make what we do so special. It may seem like a little thing, but getting to watch a student experience something they’ve dreamed about reminds us why we teach. We want our students to know that their dreams matter, and sometimes, those dreams are closer than they think.

Dream big. Work hard. And never stop believing that those dreams can become reality.
We’re so THANKFUL for teachers who go the extra mile to create moments our students will remember for years to come!
