Meet Renee Montano, our new Superintendent/Principal.

Hello everyone, I'm honored to be joining Picacho Elementary District as your new Superintendent/Principal! As a native Arizonan with experience in Pinal County, I'm excited to be part of this community. I am an educator with 16 years in the classroom, and 15 in various leadership roles ranging from Asst. Principal to district level administration. Those experiences have equipped me with strong leadership skills and the ability to navigate complex situations. In addition, my background includes serving as Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, and AVID in Casa Grande. I'm passionate about ensuring all students have access to a high-quality education, and I'm particularly committed to providing exceptional support for students with special needs. I'm eager to collaborate with the amazing staff and parents here at Picacho Elementary to build upon the school's strengths and make it an even brighter place for our students!
