Four Animal Science students were recently awarded their FFA Chapter Degrees at the end-of-year celebration in recognition of their dedication, leadership, and accomplishments in agricultural education and FFA.

In addition, Heidi Bramm was honored with the prestigious DeKalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award, recognizing outstanding achievement in academics, leadership, and agricultural experience.

Congratulations to all of these students on their hard work and success. We are proud of your accomplishments and look forward to seeing all that you achieve in the future!

Eli Crew, a 12th grade Digital Media and Sound Production student from Owen J. Roberts, experienced his teacher's impact firsthand through our LINK program (Leaders Involved in Networking Kids). After participating in both the Fall and Spring retreats, Eli formed meaningful connections that truly changed his life.

Inspired by those experiences, Eli wrote and produced an original song, “When Thanks Isn’t Enough,” dedicated to Kim Rooney (Galianese), Special Education Case Manager and LINK advisor. With support from his CTE instructor, Sean Hicks, and members of the Occupational Advisory Committee, Eli brought his vision to life.

Eli shared this message with Mrs. Rooney:
"Thank you, I hope you know that song is so overly earned. You have changed so many lives including mine in the matter of three days which not many people can do, so I thank you for guiding me to be a better version of myself and the many others you have helped."

The song later became part of TCHS Pickering's graduation ceremony, playing during the student recession, a fitting tribute
to the lasting impact of connection, leadership, and mentorship.

is grateful for great community partnerships! Thank you to Jonathan Aloisio, owner of DARE (Dave’s Auto Repair Enterprise) in West Chester, for helping us secure 20 running vehicles for our shops at TCHS Pennock’s Bridge and TCHS Pickering.
