🚀Meet Jesus, one of our featured student speakers from Mexico!
After completing the Kumon Math Program at just 15 years old, Jesus went on to study Biotechnology Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey and co-found SEPOC, a startup dedicated to sustainable agricultural innovation.
From academic achievement to entrepreneurship, Jesus is using science and innovation to help solve real-world environmental and agricultural challenges. His story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when curiosity, perseverance, and purpose come together.

🚀  Meet Ana Joyce, one of our featured student speakers from Brazil!
At just 15 years old, Ana has already completed both the Kumon Reading and English Language programs and is currently studying Math at Level M. Through years of dedication and self-learning, she has developed the skills that helped her gain acceptance to more than 23 universities while still in her teens.
A talented musician who plays over 15 instruments and speaks English fluently, Ana dreams of becoming a doctor and Neuroscience researcher.

Meet Abdullah, one of our featured student speakers from Hong Kong!
Abdullah’s academic journey is a testament to persistence, excellence, and the power of setting ambitious goals. After completing Kumon’s Mathematics and English Programs, he achieved outstanding results on the 2025 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE), earning 5* in four subjects and an impressive 5** in one subject.
His hard work has led to his admission to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong, where he is preparing to

12-year-old Shaylen can spell words many have never even seen or heard of. The champion of multiple spelling bees, Shaylen is also a brown belt in Taekwondo, plays the cello in a local orchestra, and competes in his school’s Math Olympiad. Meet Joshua. Despite facing serious medical challenges that make it difficult for him to retain information, he completed the Kumon Reading Program by the age of 7. Now 13, he is nearing completion of the Kumon Math Program, studying calculus as an eighth grader. Learn more about this inspirational student.

As a Chief Operating Officer of a nonprofit before high school, Vidhi is already well on her way to changing the world. The organization, Vision4Science, is designed to ignite a passion for science in younger generations. Through unique workshops, free school presentations, and STEM symposiums, Vidhi speaks to dozens of hungry minds, encouraging them to take a closer look at the world around them and dive deeper into how science may affect their everyday life.

Only 12 years old, Vidhi is the COO of a nonprofit dedicated to encouraging kids to get interested in science. The Kumon Student enjoys sharing her love of science with others.
