Good evening, GCU Parents! From your GCU Parent Council!

It has been an incredible honor to serve on the Parent Council this year. Please know that your families are loved, valued, and prayed for! 🙏

What a blessing it was to meet so many of you during Family Weekend! I wanted to share a few highlights from our time together:

💜 Prayed with many of you and shared in your faith journeys.

💜 Shared and heard amazing stories alongside GCU leadership.

💜 Met so many talented students while helping with check-in and welcoming families to campus.

💜 Cheered on our GCU Women’s Volleyball team! 🏐

💜 Reconnected with wonderful families and strengthened friendships across our Lope community.

Most of all, it was a reminder that GCU is more than a university—it’s a family rooted in faith, community, and a shared love for our students.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you and your families. We are grateful to be part of your GCU journey and look forward to continuing to connect, encourage, and pray with you throughout the year.

Before You Arrive: Family Weekend Need-to-Knows

Check-In
When you arrive on campus, your first checklist item is to check in at the Lope Shop. There, you will receive your nametags, shirts and any event information and materials you may need throughout the weekend.

Parking

A few quick reminders:
Students and children under 12 do not need to purchase a registration ticket, but they should still be included in the headcount when registering for events that require one.
Family Weekend T-shirts are available for $10 each.
Plan to arrive early for events, so you have plenty of time to park, check in and get where you need to be.
