Those who work in the nonprofit sector often work with vulnerable populations and trying to fix complex problems in their communities, and this can often lean to compassion fatigue and burnout. It is important for more individuals working at nonprofits and the organizations themselves to be aware of what causes burnout, and what can be done to prevent it, so the vital work these organizations do don't face a labor shortage.
