Happy Teacher Appreciation week!! The teachers here at SSCA appreciate all the love from our families! We wanted to show our appreciation to OUR teacher today and love on Miss Sandy! We couldn’t do our job without her leadership, guidance, and love in all aspects of life! We are grateful to God that we have been blessed with such an amazing director!

Disney Day at SSCA. So much fun!

Kicking off Spirit Week with Superhero Day. Everyone looked so great! Can't wait for Disney Day tomorrow.

The excitement of community helpers continues! We were so thankful to have had a city bus come to the school Friday morning. The kids loved climbing up into the big bus, singing “Wheels on the Bus”, and pretending to be the bus driver! 🚌

Kicked off our community helpers theme today and the kids absolutely LOVED it! We are so thankful to Justin from the Phoenix Fire Department for taking the time to teach us all about fire trucks, fire safety, and everything that comes with the job! We appreciate all you do to keep our community safe!

What a week! It is so crazy to think that we have only been in the building for 4 days! It has been such a joy seeing all the kiddos have so much fun at their new school! They are loving all of their new toys, classrooms, and playgrounds! (Of course!) Thank you to everyone for all of your patience and prayers while waiting for the school to open! We finally made it! 🎉

Just stopping by to say congratulations to Miss Christina! The wedding was beautiful and we were all so blessed to be a part of your big day! We can’t wait to see what God has planned for you and Eric in the future! ❤️

When you sign your kiddos up at our school, they become a part of a family. We want nothing but the best for them, we care about their success, and we love them unconditionally. With that being said, it is always a sad day when part of family moves away.

Braxton and Brayleigh had their last day here at SSCA today and we are going to miss them so much! We are praying for the Newman Family as they embark on this new chapter and wish you the best of luck! This may be goodbye for now, but just remember, you will always be a part of the SSCA family. We love you guys! ❤️

We know you are all anxiously waiting for our new location to open and we cannot wait either! We are praying it happens sooner than later! In the meantime, we have been able to start working on our classrooms and it is so exciting to see everything coming together!

For teachers, weeks like this last one are our favorites! We love getting to relax a bit and just have fun with your kiddos! This week was full of fun, laughs, games, crafts, and of course SUGAR! We are so thankful that we get to do this for a living! Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you all in January 7th!

There was magic in the air today for Disney Day! We have so much fun with spirit week at SSCA! Teachers always jump at the chance to have a little fun with the kids and embrace their inner child!

Luckily we are not saying goodbye, but see you later! Charis and Piper, we are going to miss you and your families so much! We are so grateful that Miss Sue takes time out of her week to come visit us every Wednesday! She reads us stories and always has fun movement activities for us! We love Miss Sue!! ❤️

Parent's Night Out is coming September 14th! Drop your kids off from 5 - 9 pm and enjoy an evening out. Cost is $25 for first child and $5 for each additional child. Dinner is included. Friends and family are welcome!

Part of our job as educators is to help teach and prepare children to recognize and trust community helpers who are charged to serve and protect us, such as firefighters, doctors and nurses, and the police. The last two weeks of summer school were geared towards learning about each of these professions, and more. Thank you to all of our community helpers who used their time to teach about what you do for us everyday. We appreciate all of you!

This week was filled with fun and music! We heard sounds from an acoustic guitar, drums, and now an electric guitar! Thank you to Samara for sharing her guitar with the kids and playing some favorite preschool songs!

We are so thankful to Pastor Jimmy for taking the time to come and worship the Lord with us! The kids enjoyed singing praise songs they hear in class, as well as learning a few new ones!

First two weeks of summer camp are complete. We had fun with our "Creepy Crawly" theme. We made bugs, ate dirt cake and enjoyed a visit from Deb's Dragons. Warning: there are snakes in these pictures!

Well another year is done and as usual it is bittersweet. So excited to see the kids grow and move on, but they will be missed!
