I bring to you, “The Shiloh Wenona”

I love this friend so much I literally married her (and her husband! See last pic). Shiloh and I met in middle school and carry such a sweet, old, homegirl-sister friendship. From French rolled jeans to wedding vows. Concerts, parties and adopting my grandparents plants when we had to part with our home. 🙏🏼
👉🏼This weaving was done in one sitting last night while I was on a super creative level!! 👈🏼
🙏🏼I pray the negative space of this weaving forever removes the negative spaces in her world. The spirit of Shiloh is a wild one. A plant goddess. A mother. A wife. A friend. A sister. A daughter. An auntie (this part is new!!). She loves her greens, her blues and a flare of orange! I really wanted to sneak one purple strand in there on account of she’s not purple and I am!!! Maybe I did 🤫!!! 😂

Love and continued blessings my girl to you, your family and all the souls who come and go. Thanks for this fun opportunity!!

Every weaving I make has such special ties (haha). This one, I received ties and inspiration straight from my soul. The woman who I created this for has been a sweet friend of mine for a million years. I reckon this isn’t our first life knowing each other 😉. Angela is a BOSS babe. She followed her spirit last year and left her old life behind. She now resides on a chain of lakes that we both were fortunate to spend our childhoods on. The colors in this weaving reign from memories of this area and thoughts of her.
Water first and foremost. Trees. Grass. Islands. Sunsets. Sunrises. Snowfall. Forest. Love. Explorations. Solitude.
The brooch is a goddess I’ve been saving for a few years (picked it up in Bisbee, AZ some time ago) for the right woman. The day has come the goddess left my antique butter bowl and found her home on The Angela. 💖

Woven with love, prayer, inspiration and humbleness. I hope this heirloom brings you warmth and love, my dear friend, as the years continue to go by. Make your story. I cherish you. 🙏🏼🌟🙏🏼🌲🙏🏼💖🙏🏼
