When will fall break begin?

Happy Thursday, Firebirds! In case you missed it, our parent meeting was last night. Here's a re-cap of what we went over...

First, we introduced our '18-'19 Administration team -- Kate Toci (Principal), Clint Keller & Curtis Walker (Assistant Principals), Barbara Asaro (Instructional Coach), Yesenia Leon (Office Manager), and Monica Navarro (Registrar)! You can always go to them for help, if needed.

We talked about our Fire Bucks store/houses and how our Firebrids can R.I.S.E every day with (R)espect, (I)ntegrity, (S)trength, and (E)xcellence.

Lastly, we had a few ANNOUNCEMENTS and IMPORTANT DATES:

-Starting Monday, middle school drop-off will be in the GYM!
-Tutoring pickup will be @ 5:15 on the basketball court
-There is a NEW play space being built!

OCT 1 - Report cards go home - Keep an eye out!
OCT 3 to 5 - Parent conferences = early release
OCT 8 to 12 - Fall Break!

Be sure to finish the week strong!

Hello families,
AMS Flower is currently working with St. Mary's Food Bank and their Summer Feeding Program. If you wish to participate in this program, it is open to anyone from the early ages up to 18 years of age. The meals are brought in at 11:30 am and they are available until 3:00 p.m. The students do NOT need to be enrolled with AMS. Families are required to eat in the cafeteria. These meals are free.

We are planning a food truck event to fundraise money for our 8th Grade Field trips. Come and hang out with us on April 20th at 5:00 PM at AMS Camelback. Enjoy food from Batchelor's Pad BBQ, The Snowy Churro, Jumping JLos Ice Cream Sandwhiches, and Elotes! Bring your family, friends and anyone who loovesss food!

Please keep in mind that there is limited parking on campus and you might have to park across the street near Taco Bell.
