Introducing John Ferlmann.

John brings energy, competitiveness, and a real passion for helping young athletes grow.

As a former Division I football player and member of Ohio State’s 2024 National Championship team, John understands the pressure, discipline, confidence, and mental toughness that come with competing at a high level.

What John enjoys most is helping athletes with the part of sports that often gets overlooked - the mental side. He works with students on confidence, focus, handling pressure, staying composed, responding to mistakes, becoming better teammates, and learning how to compete with purpose.

John’s coaching style is relatable, positive, and competitive. He wants athletes to feel comfortable talking with him, asking questions, and learning from his experiences, while also being challenged to raise their standards.

At PSI, John’s role goes beyond coaching. As a mentor, he helps students build the mindset, habits, and confidence they can carry into sports, school, and everyday life.
