The Michigan Dogman is a wolf-like cryptid said to inhabit the forests of the Michigan. Since the late twentieth century, numerous eyewitnesses have reported encounters with a mysterious creature that combines the features of a large wolf and a human. Although no scientific evidence has confirmed its existence, the Michigan Dogman has become one of the most enduring legends in American cryptozoology, inspiring stories, investigations, and local folklore throughout the state.
According to reported sightings, the Michigan Dogman is most often encountered in dense forests, along wooded trails, beside remote rivers, and on isolated roads after dark. Many reports originate from sparsely populated regions where thick woodlands and rugged terrain provide ideal cover for an elusive animal. Witnesses frequently describe a sudden feeling of unease before noticing the creature watching from the shadows or crossing a road ahead of them.

Its head resembles that of a large wolf, complete with a long muzzle, pointed ears, and rows of sharp fangs capable of delivering a fearsome bite. Glowing eyes are among its most recognizable features, often described as reflecting brightly in darkness or appearing to shine on their own.
