Another graduation in the books! Class of 2025 is an incredibly special group! As a whole, they were one of the most spirited and connected classes I’ve seen during my time at PHS. I had the honor of presenting 11 stellar students (unfortunately one missed the pictures 😭). I will never not feel blessed to be a students chosen person. I’ve watched them blossom the last 4 years and what a ride it has been! The ceremony wasn’t without a little drama though as a fire not far behind the stadium forced us to rush a bit and we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to continue. Thank you .or for keeping us safe and allowing the show to go on. Lastly, I got in on the grad night fun again this year, but I’m definitely paying for it today! 4am finish makes for a looong day! 🥴 Love you, class of 2025! I’m proud of you!

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my group of advisory students that I had for 4 years. Some came and went, but the group stayed mainly consistent. I watched them grow, evolve, mature, and get ready to leave the walls of Phoenix High School. It was an honor to be their advisor. I had them start and end each year with a letter to themselves that I handed back at our celebration. It was so fun to watch them laugh, cringe, and tear up as they relived their journeys. I’m so grateful to have a job that allows me rewards like this. ❤️ Congrats class of 2025!

This school year, Phoenix High School is offering a brand new class with hands-on experience. They are partnering with Mercy Flights to teach emergency medical skills in the course Intro to EMS.

Another awesome field trip to Mercy Flights with Exploring Careers in Healthcare. We were able to see the helicopter in the sky just after take-off and then stood outside the hangar to watch it return. Great experience! Thank you Mercy Flights Inc for always providing amazing opportunities!
