Create your own boho wall hanging made from clay during September's Full Moon!

September 26 is the Harvest Moon! Honoring our beautiful Moon’s cycle in this clay slab class, we will paint with underglazes and carve or sculpt a wall hanging mobile of the moon phases. The fired moons can be assembled to hang vertically or horizontally on a branch or dowel. No clay experience is necessary for this fun hand building class.

This is a single fire project, and all finished work will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks after class.

Handbuilt Bells are back! Join us on Sunday, September 20 from 11-1 to use clay to craft beautiful bells for your home or garden! Learn clay sculpture skills such as pinch pots and coils, carving and more to craft your own bell. Bells are made from stoneware clay, so they are durable enough for indoor or outdoor use. Return in approximately three weeks once your project is fired to paint your masterpiece with glazes. No clay experience needed for this fun hand building class!

Kids’ CLAYtime: Gnome Homes is Saturday, 9/5 from 10-12! Join certified art teacher, Laurie, to learn clay hand building techniques while constructing your own gnome home in this fun workshop! Combine two pinch pots, then embellish with essentials like doors, windows, chimneys and nature-y decorations like flowers, leaves, etc.

This class is family friendly and suitable for artists 5+. Parents are welcome to drop off or to stay with their child and enjoy the class together. If parents would like to create their own project, please register for a seat as well.

All materials and firing fees included. Projects will be ready to pick up in 2-3 weeks.

If you are looking for an evening of casual arts based entertainment, check out our new themed movie night! Sit back, relax and join us to watch Loving Vincent while painting your own pre-made ceramic sunflower spoon rest with glazes.

Loving Vincent is a 2017 biographical animated drama film that explores the life and controversial death of painter Vincent van Gogh. Set one year after his death, the story follows a young man named Armand Roulin who sets out to deliver the artist’s final letter. It is recognized as the world’s first fully painted feature film. Every single frame of the movie was hand-painted with oil paints in the distinct style of Vincent van Gogh.Over 100 artists worked for years to create the tens of thousands of individual painted frames that bring Van Gogh’s actual artworks to motion.

Please note the film is rated PG-13 in case you are planning to bring young children.

Spoon rest measures 9” L x 5” W x 1” H. After glazing, they will need to be kiln fired and will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. Spoon rest will be food safe, but hand wash only.

Price is per participant. All materials, and firing fees are included. Adults 21+ can BYOB if desired.
