Bartolina Sisa dijo: mi rebelión es: Para que extinguida la cara blanca, solo reinasen los indios».
A los 32 años, Bartolina fue ejecutada el 5 de septiembre de 1782. Su cuerpo fue arrastrado por un caballo amarrada de los pies. Fue ahorcada y su cuerpo descuartizado. Clavaron su cabeza y extremidades en diferentes lugares.
En su memoria, el 5 de septiembre, se conmemora el Día Internacional de la Mujer Indígena.

Bartolina Sisa said: “My rebellion is this: ‘May the white face be wiped out, so that only the Indigenous people may reign.’”
At the age of 32, Bartolina was executed on September 5, 1782. Her body was dragged by a horse to which her feet were tied. She was hanged, and her body was quartered. Her head and limbs were impaled in different places.
In her memory, September 5 is celebrated as the International Day of Indigenous Women.

Este taller es para migrantes, residentes y ciudadanos - a todxs nos toca defender a nuestro pueblo. Bajo Trump los agentes de ICE y la policía están cazando a nuestras familias y comunidades en sus casas y sus lugares de trabajo. Pero, ICE se queja que cuando conocemos nuestros derechos, es mucho más difícil arrestarnos y destruir nuestras familias.

This workshop is for migrants, residents and citizens - it is up to all of us to defend our people.
