Meet warrior Journey 🎗️

This sweet girl is a bundle of joy. Her mom says it best: "Journey is one happy lil lady. She is a blessing to our family. She is sassy and so fun. She is very talkative and always on the go. Journey went in for an eye exam, we were referred to a specialist on 1/9/25 and came back on 1/10/25 for anesthesia imaging to get a close look at her eyes and a little later is when we got the diagnosis of her RB. From there we were admitted, she went for an MRI and port insertion and started her first round of chemotherapy the next day."

Journey, we are sending you so many prayers and big hugs for you journey ahead 💛

You can help make her chemotherapy days a little brighter by sponsoring her Comfycozy Care Pack at comfycozys.com/donate. Your support means the world to us, and it helps ensure Journey has a little comfort and dignity as she fights like the true warrior she is 💕

Join us in praying for Comfycozy warrior Emma 🎗️ Let’s surround her with love, strength, and hope. Your prayers, positive energy, and support mean the world to Emma and her family 💛

Please pray for childhood cancer fighter Emma as she enters a critical week in her cancer journey. On Monday, she started her sixth and final cycle of chemotherapy at Children's of Alabama - five consecutive days of treatment, followed by a two-day break and one last round on January 13th.

Will you join us in praying for Emma, her family and her medical team? Her doctors have determined this will be her final treatment, as options are no longer possible. Additional radiation is too much of a risk and surgery to remove the tumor is impossible on her tiny lungs.

We're asking for you to pray specifically for this cycle of chemotherapy to destroy every cancer cell and melt away her remaining tumor. Emma has shown incredible strength throughout these 400+ days, and now, more than ever, she needs our prayers and support.

Meet Warrior Ania 🎗️

Ania’s dad shared the story of his brave young girl and her journey:

Ania had always been a healthy, active teenager, and during her routine yearly physical, the PA noticed a slight possible sign of scoliosis. Both of Ania’s parents, Jason and Melissa (who both work in the medical field), felt it was likely a false alarm. However, while visiting family in New York, Melissa decided to have Ania get an X-ray to rule out scoliosis.

The very next day, the radiologist told Melissa that Ania needed an urgent CT scan.

After the scan, the radiologist advised Melissa to immediately bring Ania to their hospital. There, after further tests and a biopsy, they received heartbreaking news: Ania has a 9cm mass in her mediastinum, along with swollen lymph nodes in her upper chest and neck.

The journey ahead is tough, but Ania is a true warrior. Her treatment begins this week. She will have a port placement this Friday, and chemo starts immediately after.

Her family asks for your prayers and support as Ania begins this challenging journey. If you’d like to help, you can sponsor Ania’s ComfyCozy Care Pack to help with her treatments ahead at comfycozys.com/donate.

Please keep Ania in your thoughts and prayers as she fights this battle. 💖

Neuroblastoma is a rare type of childhood cancer, but it is the third most common type of childhood cancer, behind leukemia and brain tumors.🎗️Today, on the first-ever Neuroblastoma Awareness Day, we share the story of one of our brave warriors, Beckham, who has fought a rare and incredibly difficult battle. 💙

On Beckham’s first birthday, his parents noticed his head shaking. After a visit to the ER, doctors ran tests but sent him home, advising follow-up appointments. But Beckham’s condition worsened, prompting a visit to an eye doctor who suspected neuroblastoma after seeing his symptoms. A week later, a CT scan confirmed their worst fear: a tumor on his adrenal gland.

Beckham was diagnosed with neuroblastoma and Opsoclonus Myoclonus Ataxia Syndrome (OMAS), a rare autoimmune disorder triggered by the tumor. After surgery to remove the tumor and adrenal gland, Beckham began treatment for both cancer and OMAS.

His mom says, "2 years later and I have a cancer-free, crazy, wild, and healthy 3-year-old boy. To this day he still receives IVIG infusions to keep his autoimmune disorder at bay and he isn’t on any ongoing cancer treatments. It is still an uphill battle but he has fought all of this with a spirit I can only admire. He is our miracle baby and this world wouldn’t be the same without him. I’m hoping with Beckham's story we can potentially help others who have children experiencing the same things as him, as it is such a rare autoimmune disorder that it’s rarely researched or even heard about.

There are about 700 to 800 new cases of neuroblastoma each year in the United States. Today, you can give children like Beckham their dignity and comfort back by visiting comfycozys.com/donate 🎗️ 💙

Our Story

Amanda Hope was a special little girl, the type of child who lit up the room with her smile. At the age of nine she started experiencing severe headaches and flu-like symptoms. After several tests it was confirmed that Amanda had leukemia. The phone call confirming the diagnosis would forever change the lives of Amanda and her family.

It took three long years of chemotherapy to finally go into remission. Celebrations were had, a huge “No More Chemo Party” attended by family, friends, nurses and doctors. She went back to school and started to enjoy life again. Then, one afternoon, three months later, Amanda mentioned she wasn’t feeling well. A battery of tests discovered she had a mass in her brain. Another painful journey of chemo and radiation began. Throughout it Amanda’s spirits never waned. She kept smiling and expressing her concern and caring for the other children in the hospital.

On March 30, 2012, 11:29am, Amanda Hope lost her battle to Leukemia. In her honor, we are carrying out her vision of giving some dignity back to our children with something as simple as a shirt designed for them.
