Thank you Miss Africa Arizona: Organized by GK Folks Foundation for awarding me with the scholarship funds after placing in your showcase. The scholarship was used in the best way possible in my nonprofit organization based in Nigeria for a school I hold so dear to my heart.

The students of Ezingodo Community School were presented with brand new handcrafted desks and chairs, a new desktop computer, as well as a few other items needed.

I have been working closely with family members and the teachers/headmistress of the school for almost a year to make this possible. Before today, our students were sitting on the floor and sharing the few seats that were available in classrooms.I can happily say that today everyone has a place to sit comfortably.

Thank you to my Arizona/US community for helping us get here. None of this would be possible without all the love and support you showed me throughout the course of the competition.

There are more desks and chairs in production for every child and teacher in the school. I hope to continue to do more for this school as the years progress and I can’t wait to come visit the school and all the kids later this year🤍

January 14th come out to this New Year’s festival held by the Nigerian Youth Collaborative. There will be great food, music, dance performances, and local businesses available. Our Miss Nigeria will have a table set up displaying her makeup business so please come and support on this day of fun!
