Mrs. Friesth’s 2nd graders, along with Ms. Heather and Ms. Pauline, proudly became Citizen Scientists through an authentic, hands-on experience. Students carefully observed, raised, tagged, and released a monarch butterfly, learning firsthand about life cycles, habitats and conservation. We are so grateful for this wonderful learning opportunity and cannot wait to follow our monarch’s adventures!

👑 Kings & Queens Day in Kindergarten! 👑
Today our Kindergarten students stepped back in time as they explored the world of kings and queens through our CKLA unit. From rich vocabulary and storytelling to creative crowns and royal discussions, our young learners were engaged, curious, and having fun while building strong literacy skills.
At Lomas, we love seeing learning come to life—especially when our students get to imagine, create, and grow together. Long live our Kindergarten royalty! 💛📚

Welcome to Starbooks Cafe! 4th grade transformed their classrooms into a cafe vibe where students shared their poetry and used their math skills to solve multi-step word problems using money and the Starbucks menu. ☕️
