Seven years after his passing, Larry Thomas’ impact is still being felt by students across Arizona.

Larry was a beloved Mountain Pointe High School track coach, dropout coordinator, Marine veteran and mentor who spent his life helping young people find their way and believe in themselves.

His mother, Charley Taylor, has continued that work through the Larry Thomas Youth Development Foundation, keeping his memory alive by giving back to young people and carrying on the work Larry cared so deeply about.

Thank you to the Larry Thomas Youth Development Foundation for everything that you do to support not only students across Arizona, but students right here at Tempe Union and Mountain Pointe.

Curriculum Night is Monday, August 10! This is a great opportunity for parents and guardians to walk their student's schedule, meet each teacher, and learn general information about each class for the upcoming school year.

Please note that students will follow the Wednesday Early Release Schedule on Monday, August 10 to accommodate the evening's events.
