We lost one of the good ones today. Jim Stevenson, long time training coordinator for the Gila River Indian Community, has passed away.
Jim’s impact on police training throughout GRIC can’t be measured. He worked tirelessly, day in day out, to provide the most up-to-date and relevant training to every member of the police (and EMS) department in the community.
We like to think that GTC was Jim’s ”third family”, after his own and the job of course. Without Jim’s help and guidance, we may not have been able to provide the years of quality training to law enforcement officers in Indian Communities across the state.
We’ll miss you brother. We’ll keep the promise you once told me… “continue the mission.”
Love you brother 😔🙏🏼
