Hopi Elementary second grade teacher Jennifer Fox was recently recognized at the Arizona Educational Foundation’s Back-to-School Breakfast after being named one of the Top 10 semifinalists in the 2027 Arizona Teacher of the Year program.

Fox’s SUSD story comes full circle. A graduate of Tavan Elementary, Ingleside Middle School and Arcadia High School, she now teaches the next generation of students in the same community that inspired her.

Over the past 21 years, only a handful of SUSD educators have reached the top tiers of the Arizona Teacher of the Year competition.

We’re proud to celebrate Jennifer and the impact she continues to make in the classroom!
