🧭 A note on the route for this Saturday:
These roads don't close ➡️ and there are only a few turns, so you don't need a gpx file or anything. Just enjoy the scenery and the open road.
The Route 66 will stay open to traffic and we'll be following the usual traffic laws, using hand signals, staying on the right side of the road. Active AZ official ride marshalls and volunteers will guide and safeguard our riders.
This ride isn't a race. 🚲 It's a chance to see this century-old highway the way it was meant to be seen, the way it all started. We have 4 different pace groups, and stops are encouraged at the landmarks along the way.
The landmarks? We've got:
📍Headicus Giganticus
📍Historic Hackberry General Store
📍Valentine Station
📍And of course these views once you gain a little elevation before the turnaround point
This ride is fully supported, so you don't need to worry about water, directions, or getting stuck anywhere.
