π Moon Valley band students attended a summer workshop and had the opportunity to learn from some special guests. The students studied with clinicians from the Phoenix Conservatory of Music, Dr. Jason Caslor - the director of bands from Arizona State University, and local band teachers. Everyone worked in groups with new friends from other schools and played music together. ππΌ

Moon Valley High School was established as part of the Glendale Union High School District in 1965. Moon Valley is part of the College Boardβs 2013 National Advanced Placement District of the Year and has been continuously listed on U.S. News & World Report's Best High School Ranking list. Moon Valley offers more than 70 different clubs, sports, and activities to its students. The schoolβs vision is to focus on high standards and a rigorous curriculum. Moon Valley High School is located in Phoenix off 35th Avenue and Cactus Road.
