Moon Valley's World History classes hosted guest lecturer, Adena Bernstein Astrowsky. Ms. Astrowsky came to Moon Valley to discuss the story of her grandmother "Bubbie" that she has chronicled in a book titled, "Living Among the Dead: My Grandmother's Holocaust Survival Story of Love and Strength." Through her presentation we learned about her grandmother's story of loss and survival during the Holocaust.

Moon Valley's Construction class took a field trip to the Carpenters Local Union facility today. Students toured the facility and learned about the different crafts carpenters can specialize in such as plasterer, drywall applicator, and insulator. Nice job, Rockets! ππ§°πͺπ¨πͺ
