On a good Sunday, glue ends up on the table. And the floor. And one kid’s sleeve. A grown-up will help. Probably two.
This is one of the ways kids learn that a story is theirs. They make something. They take it home. And months later they still remember what story it went with.
Worship at 10:00 AM, in person and online. Bring them ready to make a little mess.

You don’t have to walk in alone. Bring a friend. Bring your neighbor. Maybe even someone who has been telling you they’re not a church person. See what they think.
Most people who show up here for the first time say the same thing on the way out: that wasn’t what I expected.
Services are at 10:00 AM, in person and online. See you Sunday.

He’s fifteen. At some point kids stop being brought and start showing up because they want to grow. That’s worth celebrating but we don’t want to embarrass anyone.

"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food... yet I will rejoice in the Lord."
The prophet Habakkuk wrote this in a season when nothing was working. No fruit. No crop. He named it all and then said “...yet.” The whole sentence turns on that one word.
Sundays at 10:00 AM. In person in Phoenix or online.

Sometimes the person who needs the hymn the most is not the one singing it. The choir doesn’t always know who is having which kind of week. The music finds the person it’s meant for anyway.
We don’t experience the ups and downs alone when we worship together.

A whole family in the same pew during the hymn. The parents know the words. The eight-year-old is figuring them out. The youngest is looking around and taking it all in.
All of it is worship. All of it counts.

There’s almost always cake or cookies on a Sunday around here. Birthdays. Blessings. Anniversaries. Whenever someone is celebrating, we’re ready to celebrate with them.
The kids notice first. The kids also notice that the second slice is allowed.
Worship at 10:00 AM, in person and online. Tell them about the cake.
