🏆 FBLA National Leadership Conference 2026 🏆

Congratulations to the incredible Sandra Day O'Connor High School FBLA students who represented Arizona at the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference, held June 29–July 2, 2026, at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas!

🌟 National Top 10 Finishers

🥉 Elizabeth Young earned 6th Place in Electronic Career Portfolio, where students create a professional digital portfolio showcasing their education, leadership, work experience, achievements, and career readiness for evaluation by business professionals.

📱 Abhinav Sreejesh and Ayush Kumar earned 9th Place in Mobile Application Development, demonstrating their skills by designing, developing, and presenting an original mobile application that solves a real-world problem through innovation and technology.

Competing against the nation's best FBLA members is an outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations to Elizabeth, Abhinav, Ayush, and their advisors for representing Sandra Day O'Connor High School, DVUSD, and Arizona FBLA with excellence. 🏆 Mountain Ridge High School FBLA – Top 10 in the Nation! 🏆

🎉 Congratulations to Mountain Ridge High School freshman Daksh Honnamane for earning 10th Place in the Nation in Introduction to Programming at the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference, held June 29–July 2 in San Antonio, Texas!

Daksh competed against the nation's best as more than 18,500 FBLA members gathered from across the country to showcase their business, technology, and leadership skills. His achievement is especially remarkable as a freshman, earning a national top-10 finish in one of FBLA's most challenging competitive events.

Introduction to Programming challenges students to demonstrate their knowledge of programming concepts, problem-solving, and coding principles through a rigorous, objective test that assesses the technical skills essential for careers in computer science and software development.

Mountain Ridge High School was represented by 16 students at this year's National Leadership Conference. Competing at the national level is an incredible accomplishment, with many participants having prepared through years of FBLA experience beginning in middle school. Earning a Top 10 national finish is a rare and significant achievement.

Congratulations, Daksh, on this outstanding accomplishment! Your dedication, talent, and hard work have made Mountain Ridge High School, DVUSD, and Arizona FBLA proud! 💙💛🎉

🎉 Congratulations to Sandra Day O'Connor High School's FCCLA National Competitors! 🎉

The Sandra Day O'Connor High School Interior Design Program proudly represented DVUSD Career & Technical Education at the 2026 FCCLA National Leadership Conference, held July 6–10, 2026, in Washington, D.C.

We're excited to recognize these outstanding accomplishments:

🥈 Jessie Estrella and Logan Felts earned a Silver Medal in the Interior Design STAR Event – Level 3.

🥈 Brody Southgate earned a Silver Medal in the Interior Design STAR Event – Level 2.

Competing on the national stage takes lots of preparation, creativity, and dedication. These students showcased their design talents, professionalism, and commitment while representing Sandra Day O'Connor High School, DVUSD, and Arizona with pride.

Sandra Day O’Connor High School HOSA made their mark at the HOSA International Leadership Conference with a top 10 win in the Public Service Announcement competition! They had one group of students compete in the event: Tavishi Gupta, Ayush Kumar, and Anna Ho.

Here's the description from the students: PSA was on brain health for public health, basically teaching good habits and the downsides of bad habits if people don’t change their ways early on, which can lead to neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s. Our PSA is called Change Your Walk of Life!

Outstanding Results for MRHS HOSA at the International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, IN!

Congratulations to Karunya Amba Sankar of Mountain Ridge HOSA for earning 3rd Place in the Research Poster Event at the 49th Annual HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis for her research project, “Dismissed Before Diagnosis: The Normalization of Endometriosis Symptoms in Adolescent Girls and Women."

Karunya independently developed the research question, conducted the study, and designed a professional research poster to present her findings. Her journey to the International Leadership Conference began with a 1st Place finish at the Central Region Conference in February. She then advanced to the State Leadership Conference in April, where she earned 3rd Place and qualified for international competition.

This is Karunya’s second year competing in the Research Poster Event at the International Leadership Conference.
