Home Grown Munchkins Home Grown is an in home childcare setting where your child can come to learn, play and create.

We are an in home daycare that strives in teaching little ones through play, exploration and weekly themed lesson plans. Little ones are encouraged to discover the world around them through learning, music, art and friendships.

Today we made planets 🪐. New theme is loading but we had a few space projects we needed to knock out still because we were holding off until Jack was back from vacation to finish them 🩷.

I gave home made kinetic sand a go and it was a hit!

We also got an update from our old friends Axel and Junia 🥹. Axel began pre-k and although they moved far away I miss them like crazy!

Today we explored planets 🪐 and galaxies. We made space sensory bags full of planets, stars and dust and as fun as they were to make and explore, I got the idea to put them on the light table so the light would help us find the stars! We wrote in the sky 🌌 and loved squishing, scratching and counting ⭐️ stars.

We are learning name recognition because learning the letters in our name comes first, colors and how to draw lines that will later become letter. We made a constellation craft so we could take home our names in the sky. Very fun Monday!
