Please sign up for the March firing soon if you plan to attend, it's about six weeks away and I need to decide if we have enough people by Feb 2. Currently we only have two people signed up.

We also have an orientation this weekend,
please sign up if you would like to attend.

Two work parties are coming up as well.

Community event -we need your help!

2nd Anniversary 2020 Labor Day Fires
From Sept 8th – 17th their will be community events recognizing the 2nd anniversary of the Labor Day fires. See them all here: https://jccltrg.org/commemorationevent/ The main event will be at Blue Heron Park on Saturday, Sept 10th from 3pm-6pm.

VOLUNTEERS Needed:
Parking, Greeters, Nurse/EMT, Media team: pictures, videos

Parking Support 1
2:30PM - 4:30PM / 1 volunteer
4:30PM - 6:30 PM / 1 volunteer
Manages lower parking lot. Sits by cones. Only allows through ADA + loading and unloading. Wears a safety vest. Able to stand for extended periods of time.

Parking Support 2
2:30PM - 4:30PM / 1 volunteer
4:30PM - 6:30 PM / 1 volunteer
Manages main parking lot. Supports Tom (parking lead) parking cars. Wears safety vest. Able to stand for extended periods of time.

Greeter
2:45PM - 6:15PM / 2 volunteers
Posted at the front of the event, greeting people. Uses a counter to count attendees. Able to stand for extended periods of time.

Nurse / EMT
3:00PM - 6:00PM / 1 volunteer
Hangs out and enjoys the event. Assists in case of emergency. Brings first aid kit. Wears provided radio.

Workshop support
3:00PM - 6:00PM
takes photos on a provided camera and prints them using the provided mini printer. Supports the artist who created the installation, ScenicG.

Media Team
3:00PM - 6:00PM / 1-4 volunteers
Capture content from the event. Photo, video, Socials video for reels. Professional Photography or content creation preferred.
