Joy Teaches Music Piano/Flute/Clarinet Lessons Piano, Flute, and Clarinet Lessons for all ages. Piano: Small children need to easily recognize their ABC's & 123's.

All instruments/All Ages: Joy Teaches Music focuses on 1) Reading musical notation, 2) Counting, and 3) Applicable Theory corresponding to each lesson. All ages learn: 5 finger patterns, chords, arpeggios, progressions (cadences) and scales. Each student learns how to form Major, minor, diminished, and augmented chords using the musical rules of theory. (Yes, even the little preschoolers can and d

o learn it.) Joy Teaches Music uses a reward/point system with a small "store," and chocolate for the adults. :)

Lessons get scheduled for once a week for a set day and time - usually, for a half an hour lesson. A "guidelines" sheet, given at the first lesson, explains payment options, expectations, communication options, and practicing tips.
