Today, BASIS Phoenix Boosters had the honor of giving our incredible teachers and staff something truly personal and meaningful. ❤️
Each teacher received a custom-made wooden chopping board engraved with:

🔥 The BASIS Phoenix Firebird logo
🔥 The year they started at BASIS Phoenix
A small but heartfelt reminder that their hard work, dedication, patience, and impact on our students do not go unnoticed.
Seeing the smiles, reactions, and excitement today reminded us how much these educators give every single day to our kids and our community. Thank you for shaping minds, encouraging growth, and showing up even on the hardest days. We appreciate you more than words can say.

FRIDAY is our FINAL DAY of Teacher Appreciation Week, and BASIS Phoenix Boosters will be bringing in a Taco Truck to serve our teachers and staff UNLIMITED TACOS for 3 hours! 🌮🌮🌮

BASIS Phoenix Boosters is the parent volunteer organization of BASIS Phoenix.
We strive to create a sense of community among our students, families, and staff by providing student and teacher services and raising funds.
Teacher Appreciation Week was extra sweet thanks to one of our amazing BASIS Phoenix parents, Melanie! 💕
Melanie generously donated these absolutely beautiful and delicious dipped treats for our teachers and staff, and they were a huge hit! From the elegant strawberries and cake pops to the chocolate-covered pretzels and floral dessert treats — everything looked professionally made and almost too pretty to eat. 😍✨
And this wasn’t her first contribution this week! She also donated delicious cakes during Day 1 of Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you, Melanie, for continuously helping us spoil and celebrate our hardworking teachers and staff. Your kindness and generosity truly mean so much to our school community. 💐

BASIS Phoenix Families — We Need Your Help
BASIS Phoenix is a tuition-free public charter school, but many people do not realize that charter schools receive about 30% less government funding than traditional public schools. At the same time, BASIS Phoenix continues to rank as one of the top schools, without families paying tens of thousands of dollars in tuition like many highly ranked private schools.
A huge part of that success comes from the quality of our teachers and the strength of our school community.
We are three weeks from the end of the school year and still about 28% short of our Annual Teacher Fund goal.
So we want to ask every BASIS Phoenix family directly:

Last Orchestra Concert of the School Year 🎻
What a way to close it out. The time, the practice, the commitment… it all showed on that stage.
We’re so proud of our students for showing up, putting in the work, and finishing strong. And a big thank you to our teachers and families who continue to support them every step of the way.
