The Arizona Department of Revenue published Final Policy Guidelines on the tax credit program for qualifying charitable organizations (QCOs). The AZ Impact for Good team is still analyzing the guidelines and will share our analysis with members as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we need your input! Please review the guidelines by clicking on the link below and send your comments, questions and concerns to Chief Public Policy Officer Laurie Liles at [email protected] AND Brandy Petrone at [email protected] by 5 p.m. on February 2, 2024. Your quick response is needed so we can determine whether to seek legislation before legislative committee hearing deadlines.

The FY2024 State of Arizona Nonprofit Security Grant Program (AZ-NSGP) is now accepting applications! πŸ›‘οΈπŸ’» This grant provides crucial funding support for physical and cyber security enhancements, as well as other security-related activities, specifically for nonprofit organizations at high risk of terrorist or extremist attacks.

πŸ” Eligibility Criteria:

1️⃣ Must have met the nonprofit eligibility requirements of USDHS/FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program for the 2023 grant year.

2️⃣ Meet either of the following:

Applied for the federal nonprofit security grant and not received funding for the same year.
Unable to apply for the federal grant due to upfront funding constraints and the inability to wait for reimbursement.

Nonprofit organizations with one site can apply for up to $100,000. Nonprofits with multiple sites can apply for additional sites, up to a maximum of three, with a total amount not exceeding $100,000. Each individual site must have a unique vulnerability assessment, even if projects are similar.
