Congratulations to Phillip for a job well done at the All-State Elementary Orchestra Festival this weekend!

Phillip was among the 75 students across the state who were selected to participate in a full day of rehearsal and a concert. He earned first chair in the second violin section.

This year, NVCA chose to partner with Casa Hogar Esperanza Para Los Niños in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico! Our high school has worked with this orphanage in the past, and now they are raising $200,000 for a new building to house infants.

✨ Each week, students gave in Chapel to help fund this project, and this week, our high school students on the Mexico Impact Missions trip were able to bring all the funds, as well as all the items collected from our All is Calm game.

Thank you to everyone who contributed—your generosity is making a real difference! 💛

Today, our NVCA family came together for a special time of worship at our whole school chapel. It was a beautiful time of reflection as we marked the beginning of Lent. Pastor Scott Seidler shared a powerful message, reminding us of God’s grace to us.

May this season draw us closer to Christ!

We’re ready for the challenge as our #23-ranked Lions take on #8-ranked Arizona Lutheran TONIGHT February 13, at 7:00 p.m. at Arizona Lutheran (6036 S. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85041).

We are so proud of these girls for working hard and continuing to battle on the court, all while building a strong team culture off the court.

CONGRATULATIONS to our varsity boys’ basketball team for their first 2A region title and advancing to the 1A-3A open State Tournament!!

The open tournament will be played at home in the NVCA gym on Wednesday, February 12 at 7:00 p.m. as our #8 ranked Lions will take on #9 ranked Florence. Come pack the stands for an NVCA WHITE OUT!!

Ticket sales for all AIA state championship events will be conducted digitally.

Spectators can only attend events in the postseason by ordering their tickets online through the association’s official partner GoFan.

Ready...Set...GO! Get your game face on and come out to play at the Mother/Son Sportstravaganza on Friday, February 7, from 6-9:00 p.m. hosted by SERVE.

Tickets are $10 presale and $15 at the door. You can purchase tickets through the QR code on the flyer or in the main office.

Proud of our lady lions who represented not only our school but our Savior at the AZDEO festival! They received a "superior" ranking from the adjudicators.
The girls performed to the song, Via Dolorosa by Sandi Patti telling the story of Christ's journey to the cross where He was Crucified.

The festival also gave an opportunity for students to receive enrichment opportunities, exploring other forms of dance, and sometimes unique! They also had an opportunity to explore future careers and dance, including colleges and their dance programs.

NVCA's L.I.O.N. Leader Award is an honor that stands for:

Today, we recognize a student who truly embodies these values. This month's L.I.O.N. Leader Award is going to a student who shows what it truly means to live with integrity and to lead by example. He is an exceptionally hard worker and gives 100% effort to everything that he does. When he sees staff or students who might need assistance, he never hesitates to lend a hand.

The L.I.O.N. Leader Award goes to NVCA, Sophomore, Dylan Rahn.
