Operating as usual
This week we are highlighting the outdoor areas we have on campus! It’s a great place for kids to socialize, and play soccer, basketball, and football. We have a Gaga ball pit that the kids love!
This week we are highlighting our Home Ec room! Our students not only learn essential math skills like measuring and weighing, but they also get to cook and bake a variety of foods throughout the school year!
We also utilize this room for our after-school CSI (Communities in Schools Initiative program that is open to MS students only) where they get to bake fundraising items and they have an incredible chef who comes in for the after-school program.
Did you know we have our very own garden!? All of our students are able to partake in this great hands-on learning opportunity throughout the school year. 🌱
To celebrate a successful school year, our students in grades 5 - 8
embarked on exciting adventures in New York City, Washington D.C., and San Diego. These trips were part of their Expeditionary Learning Capstone Experience, funded by a generous grant from the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation. Thank you for making these educational experiences possible!
Our students are our #1 priority here at CFLA! Did you know, we provide school uniforms to all our students?
