In 1971, the United States Congress recognized Mustangs as “living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West, which continue to contribute to the diversity of life forms within the nation and enrich the lives of the American people.” As such, the Mustang is a fitting mascot to represent the Country Place students and community. Serving the city of Tolleson, Arizona, founded in 1912, C

ountry Place embraces the Tolleson motto: “Honoring our past, positioning our future.” Our students are a link to our rich heritage and the spirit of the West. Through education, we are positioning our most valuable treasure, our children, for a bright future. Working together as parents, educators, and community leaders toward that common goal, our lives and our community continue to be enriched as we look forward to Tolleson’s next 100 years.

In an effort to provide factual information about the upcoming Bond Election in November, District leaders will be providing community presentations at all 8 academies during the month of September. We invite everyone in the Littleton Community to join us at one of these sessions. It's important to know that you do not have to have a student in our District to attend these sessions. We encourage everyone living in our community to learn the facts about the bond! Please share this with anyone you know that lives in the District!

After learning about culture and traditions through stories, Ms. Hill's 3rd grade class had the chance to share a special part of their own culture and family traditions with the class.

We loved hearing their stories and learning what makes each family unique! ✨

Recently, two students from CPLA were accepted as members of the Kids Voting Arizona Leadership Council. They will work with 12 other students from across Arizona to encourage and promote voting throughout Arizona. Their first meeting was held in the Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes Office at the State Capital. They had a chance to meet and ask questions of Secretary Fontes.

The Kids Voting Arizona Leadership Council (KVLC) is comprised of motivated middle and high school students who work to ensure that youth voices are heard through meaningful, educational election experiences. The council is administered by the Arizona Bar Foundation as part of its Kids Voting Arizona program.

We are so proud of our Leaders.

What a sweet surprise in the garden! Our students discovered many babt watermelons growing in the garden, and they were so excited to try them.

The best part? We shared our delicious watermelon surprise with other students in the cafeteria and with our wonderful teachers.

Sharing the harvest made the experience even more special.

🏀💪 Fighting Until the Final Buzzer!

Our girls put it all on the court tonight, playing hard, battling through every possession, and never giving up. While we came up short against Lakin Prep, we’re proud of the effort, heart, and determination our girls showed from start to finish.

A huge shoutout to our amazing cheerleaders for bringing the energy, spirit, and support all game long!

Keep your heads up, girls! Learn, grow, and come back ready to fight another day! The best is yet to come💛🖤💛

🚨 Fire Drill Complete! 🚨

We recently held a fire drill with our team! It was a good chance to practice our evacuation routes, go over what to do in an emergency, and make sure everyone knows how to stay safe.

Thanks to everyone for participating and helping us keep safety a priority!
