I am proud to announce that our student of the month for October is Sariya.
Sariya is full of energy and has a natural talent for playing the piano. Since the beginning of this school year, I have seen Sariya progress in such a short period of time. Her posture at the piano has greatly improved; her accuracy in playing the notes and her technical skills have been refined; and her attitude towards practice has been renewed. She has been tackling all of her weekly homework and exercises. She has been reading her assignments and accomplishing our weekly goals. And her willingness to put time and effort into quality practice with her mom working along side her has grown in a positive direction. And I have to mention that Sariya's mom's involvement has been key to Sariya's success as a student. Shout out to Mindy! Great job for working with Sariya. It has made a huge difference!:) (To all of my parents, I know that we parents have alot on our plates, but your involvement and encouragement in daily practice makes a world of difference.)
Sariya is now taking 45 minute lessons, which has allowed us the time to dive deeper into areas of technical skills and theory that we didn't have time to touch on before. Overall, I am so proud of the progress Sariya is making this year. Keep up the good work, Sariya!! Your hard work is paying off! :)
Sariya is in 3rd grade, and her favorite subject in school is Writing, She wants to be a school teacher when she grows up! One of Sariya's favorite things to do is sing and play the piano. Her mom and grandma, who are also pianists, have inspired her love for music and playing the piano. And her favorite artist is Britt Nicole.
