A FREE Virtual Maternal Health Fair &Book Club commemorating
Black Maternal Health Week. April 1st -11th

05/26/2026

Meet our incredible guest speaker for Beyond the Bump, Dr. Jane C. Grant, PT, DPT! ✨

Dr. Jane is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy, pelvic floor specialist, and the visionary founder of Invigorate Holistic Wellness. Her journey in healthcare began at Tennessee State University, followed by her earning a doctorate at Hampton University.

But Dr. Jane is not your average physical therapist.

Recognizing the limitations of traditional, disease-centered medical models, she deliberately expanded her expertise to bridge the gap between clinical science and sacred, holistic healing.

Dr. Jame is also a certified SMC Full Circle Doula & Birth Companion, Community Herbalist, Level III Reiki Teacher, and Mindfulness Practitioner.

Dr. Jane has dedicated her career to creating culturally safe, trauma-informed spaces where women of color, marginalized populations, and birthing humans can reclaim their bodies. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum athletic coaching, pelvic pain, and rebuilding core strength. She works hard to ensure mamas get the thorough, respectful care they deserve.

We are so honored to have her share her wisdom with the Birthing the Magic community on June 10th!

Secure your free spot at Bit.ly/Pelvic_HealthBTM to ask her your pelvic health questions live. 🧘🏾‍♀️🌱

How many times have you been told that a little leak when you sneeze, or pelvic pain, is just 'part of the deal' after having a baby?

Girl, auntie, and 'em are wrong!

While your body goes through magical transformations to bring life into the world, suffering in silence doesn't have to be your new normal.

Join Dr. Jane Grant, PT, on June 10 for 'Beyond the Bump' a free virtual conversation where you will learn the keys to improving your pelvic health after pregnancy.

Being heard shouldn’t be a matter of life or death.

During Black Maternal Health Week, we have to name a hard truth: Poor outcomes are fueled when Black women’s concerns are minimized, misunderstood, or ignored until it’s too late.

Advocacy shouldn’t feel like an uphill battle while you're at your most vulnerable. To help reclaim that space and find your voice, join us for Advocacy Without Anxiety: Trauma-Informed Communication with Rachell Dumas, MSN, RN.

Learn how to:
Communicate with clarity under pressure.
Stay grounded in clinical settings.
Speak up with confidence when it matters most.

📅 When: May 13 | 7 PM ET

🔗 Register: bit.ly/Without_Anxiety

For our frontline partners (nurses and doulas), this is more than a learning opportunity; it is a chance to deepen your practice in trauma-informed care. By joining us, you’ll gain practical strategies to better support your clients, bridge communication gaps, and advocate effectively within the healthcare system."

We are proud to offer Continuing Education (CE) credits for this session. Upon completion, nurses will have the option to obtain 1 hour of CE, and doulas will receive a certificate validating their attendance.

At Noon ET ~ join Birth Power Book Club for a conversation with award-winning author Jacinda Townsend for a lovely conversation on her powerful novel, "Mother Country".

At 4:30 PM ET ~ Pregnancy Pearls: Heart Health Matters with Dr. Joy Baker and Dr. Nicole Plenty will explore why cardiometabolic health matters before, during, and after pregnancy. Conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease can quietly shape pregnancy outcomes.
