PME292: Critical Care Paramedicine – 8 credits

Designed as the capstone Critical Care Paramedicine experience in which the student synthesizes standard of care and expanded scope of practice with comprehensive assessment, diagnostic technology, patient advocacy, ethical and professional behaviors, to practice patient-centered evidence based paramedicine in the clinical, out-of-hospital, and inter-facility transport settings.

A mandatory in person orientation for the program will take place prior to the course start date.

We are offering a delayed start to our Critical Care Paramedic Course, which will now start on 9/4/24. To our knowledge, this will be the only course, which meets or exceeds the new State of Arizona requirements completed before the new rules are slated to go into effect on January 1, 2025. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you need assistance with enrollment.

Phoenix College is planning to hold a Critical Care Paramedic Course to begin on August 21, 2024. This is a hybrid course with the planned schedule attached. There are still seats available for those who may have an interest. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, to obtain assistance with registration, or to receive additional information!
