enables us to work together to create a safe and pleasant learning environment. Tomahawk is a K-5 elementary school located in West Phoenix. We are part of the Cartwright School District. Our school has about 900 students and 40 teachers. We believe strongly that every child will go to college. At Tomahawk we have high expectations for our students and strive to help them be successful academically while creating well-rounded individuals. omahawk is a growing Professional Learning Community. We collaborate with our colleagues, share ideas, and make first best instruction the best that it can be for our students. Our staff web pages allow our school community to continuously communicate, increase collaboration, and work together as a technology savvy PLC. Technology makes our collaboration efforts even more effective! Together we can accomplish anything! Together we can accomplish a Tomahawk teachers like using technology to help students learn. Every classroom has an Activboard, computers, and other technology equipment. There are school laptops, flip cameras, ipods, and other equipment available for classroom projects. We believe that when students are actively engaged it enhances their learning and promotes student achievement. Our goal is to integrate technology in all subjects.
