September is here! 🍎📚 Here’s a quick look at what’s coming up across our district this month.

📅 No school Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

🎒 Grades K–8 have half days every Friday, so be sure to plan ahead for those early dismissal days.

💻 For our Credit Recovery Program and Tucson Graduation Program students, we know your schedules look a little different since you work at your own pace. While the traditional school calendar may not always apply to you, Labor Day is still a great reminder to give yourself permission to take a break.

Rest is important, too. Take the day, recharge, enjoy some time with the people you love, and come back ready to keep working toward your goals. 💙

High school is about figuring out what you want your future to look like, and at Tech High School, you can start building it while you’re still earning your diploma. 🎓

Along with academics, Tech offers hands-on opportunities like our FREE Cosmetology Program, where students can learn real skills in haircutting, styling, color, skincare, nails and more while completing the 1,600 hours needed before cosmetology license testing. ✂️💇‍♀️

Whether you already know what you want to do after graduation or you’re still figuring it out, Tech gives you room to learn, grow, explore your interests and prepare for what comes next.

The countdown is on! Here's what Tech students can expect as we kick off the new school year.

📚 First Day of School: Monday, August 3

🎓 New Trimester Schedule: This year, students will complete their academic day from 8:00 AM to 12:50 PM, giving them the flexibility to balance school with work, family, and future goals. Afternoons can be used for credit recovery, academic support, student clubs, and other opportunities while staying on track for graduation.

Tech High School is excited to welcome students back for the new school year on Monday, August 3rd!

This year, we're introducing our new trimester schedule, giving students the opportunity to complete their academic day by 12:50 PM while staying on track for graduation. The schedule is designed to help students balance school, work, family, and future goals, with opportunities for afternoon credit recovery, academic support, student clubs, and more.

Now enrolling students in grades 9-12. If you're looking for a flexible high school experience that keeps you focused on your future, we'd love to help you get started.

Tech High School has a new trimester schedule! What does that mean for students?

Our new schedule is designed to help students balance school, work, family, and future goals while staying on track for graduation.

Here's what students can expect:

📚 Complete your academic day by 12:50 PM
🎓 Earn at least 6 high school credits each year
➕ Earn additional credits through afternoon programming
🎯 Focus on fewer classes at a time for greater success
💼 Use your afternoons for credit recovery, academic support, student clubs, and more

Students will also continue gaining hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art facilities, including our cosmetology salon, while working toward their high school diploma. Early graduation and credit recovery opportunities are also available.

Success looks different for every student, and our new trimester schedule is designed with that in mind.

With focused mornings and flexible afternoons, students can stay on track academically while balancing school, work, family, and future goals.

Here's what to expect:
