Something about the way my locs entangle in this photo collage tells a story. There is a core. Each strand leads to destination, a birth canal. The triggered childhood trauma ignited by me relocating back home was/is birthing a Wholehearted Woman. I’m smiling yet my eyes are heavy. It was in this season, I kept whispering to myself “DeVonna, what are you doing back here? Everything you’ve been seeking in the outside world comes from within.” I was becoming more alone in close proximity to my family and friends and soulmate than I’d ever been before. The biggest misconception I had was PROXIMITY. I’m writing. Prepare to be inspired.

It’s a hard pill to swallow, the only person stringing you along is you. Remember, You Got It Girl...YOU GOT IT!✨👌🏾🥂

There comes a moment in life when you become the observer, not too much excitement, not too much uneasiness. Just Balance. You trust the process without judgment. You layer in Gratitude, stand in your power, gracefully without ego. In total surrender mode, as wisdom whispers in your ear, “You’re on to something” You respond deeply in a knowing that you knew all along. This Homecoming was all about Wholeness’s definitive measure. When one is Whole she lacks nothing only when she focuses on the missing pieces does Abundance appear out of her reach!
