⚾️ Baseball Fun at Griffith! ⚾️
Last Thursday, our fourth grade PE students had a ball when Fun At Bat sponsored by the Arizona Diamondbacks came out to work with our Griffith Giants! 🧢
Students had a great time participating in fun, hands-on activities while learning new skills and discovering just how much fun baseball can be. It was awesome seeing their smiles, teamwork, and excitement throughout the day! ❤️⚾️
A huge THANK YOU to the instructors for spending time with our students and helping spark a love of sports and active play! We appreciate you, Arizona Diamondbacks!

🏫✨ Title I & Open House Night at Griffith Elementary!
Last night, Griffith Elementary welcomed our amazing families for our Title I/Open House Night! 🍎We are so thankful to everyone who came out to learn more about Griffith expectations, what our students are learning, and how we can partner together to support each child’s success. 📚🌟
A BIG shoutout to all of our wonderful community partners including: Willow & Sprig Behavioral Health Phoenix Parks and Recreation Saguaro Library Griffith Giants PTO Hope Women’s Center Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley Mountain Park Health Center who joined us and helped make the evening so special! We are grateful for the support you give our students, families, and school community. ❤️

🏐💥 DODGEBALL FUN AT GRIFFITH! 💥🏐
This morning was full of energy, excitement, and LOTS of dodgeball at Griffith Elementary! 🏆
Coach Hill has been working hard with our Giants on dodgeball during the first unit of the school year, and today our students got to put those skills to the test during our Dodgeball Tournament! 🎯
A HUGE thank-you to all of our students and families who came out to play, cheer, and make the morning so much fun! 🍎
One of the best parts? Watching our students get so excited—and then seeing parents jump in at the end to play dodgeball alongside their children! 🙌😂 Talk about making memories!
Thank you for making our first event of the school year such a success! We can’t wait to see everyone at our next event.

🎶 Fun Fridays in Music Class! 🎤✨
Fridays in Mr. Nate’s music class are always something to look forward to! Each week, students get the chance to form groups, choose their own song, and put on a performance for their classmates. 🎵
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Mrs. Greene’s 4th grade class! 🌟 Our fourth graders brought their creativity, confidence, and energy to the stage as they performed for their classmates.
Singing and creative performances, our Griffith Giants are building confidence, working together, and having SO much fun! And of course, the audience is always ready to cheer them on! 👏🎉
What better way to end the week than with music, laughter, and a little Friday fun?! ❤️🎶

Pierce Park, Community & Connection 💙

What a beautiful day at Pierce Park! We were proud to have three Balsz tents representing our community — Balsz Elementary School District, Pat Tillman Middle School, and Griffith Elementary — with our friends at Southwest Human Development helping us welcome families at the Tillman tent.

We were also honored to celebrate alongside Mayor Kate Gallego, our Governing Board members, City of Phoenix, AZ USA, Park Rangers, Phoenix Public Library – Saguaro Branch, the 44th Community Alliance, and so many families and community members who came out to enjoy the day.

Today was especially meaningful as we celebrated the improvements at Pierce Park, including the renovated tennis and pickleball courts. We are grateful to the 44th Community Alliance for spearheading this effort and bringing the community together to help create a renewed space for families to gather, play and connect.

Thank you to all of our community partners and everyone who helped make today such a special celebration! 💙
