Gateway Early College Graduation

Congratulations are in order today for many of our staff and teachers!

Jessalin Machado was recognized for her innovation of the year which will provide little libraries to our students to assist with improving reading!

Principal Stacey Boyd and former High School Algebra teacher Luis Daniel Vingochea as they were recognized today by the college for their achievements.

Congratulations to our World History teacher Roger Wiersum for finishing his doctorate in Psychology.

Shout out as well to Luz Rodriguez for completing 10 years of service as well as Maria Bracamontes for 15 years of service!

We appreciate all of you for your constant efforts to support our students!

Congratulations to our 27 GWECHS students that received their Associates Degrees from GateWay Community College this evening. This is the highest number of grads in our school's history! Well done Class of 2022

Hey Students and Alumni, we need your help this coming weekend! 🆘

GateWay Community College and our GWECHS students are being featured in a Prime Video program, THE COLLEGE TOUR.🎥 Filming will be on Sunday morning, Feb. 6 - The College Tour (TV Show)

Must be available Sun. Feb. 6 from 9am - 10am OR 11:30am - 12:30pm. Or even both sessions! We need as many people on campus that day to make it seem like a realistic day. Alumni, Friends and Family are welcome. There will be donuts and GateWay Flair for participants, plus the chance to see yourself and others in this awesome new Reality Type Show! Any GWECHS students who participate will receive community service hours! (You know how important those are!)

A little late posting, but our ART students showed their appreciation for our History Teacher and Veteran Mr. Wiersum. Thanks to all who work to support us.

We are currently looking for part time AVID tutors every Wednesday 915am-330pm contact Karen Hawkes for more information. Fingerprint clearance card will be required.
