Last month, The Thunderbird Paris Chapter was joined by several members of the Geneva Chapter for a special event to celebrate the unveiling of Peter Petrik's ('00) and his wife’s new sailboat at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The group was treated to a private tour, enjoyed a wonderful dinner and heard about Peter and Adrienne's plans to embark on their dream: to sail the world! The weather was perfect and of course, being on the Cote d'Azur, the location could not have been better. And it goes without saying, the company was exceptional! A great time was had by all. Thunderbird and the Office of Alumni Engagement are gearing up for the second annual Thunderfest! Taking place October through November, Thunderfest is a series of events celebrating the Thunderbird Mystique while fostering global connections, and showcasing Tbird pride points. Last year, over 45 chapters hosted events and included not just alumni, but also current and prospective students, staff, faculty, and the larger Thunderbird communuty. Let's make the fall 2024 events even bigger and better!

Building upon the success of the inaugural Thunderfest, we are spending this launch week reflecting on some of the incredible things that make T-birds proud to be T-birds. One of the great pride points of Thunderbird is our portfolio of our world-renowned degree offerings. This year, Thunderbird's Master of Global Management was ranked No. 1 in international trade for the second consecutive year by QS International Rankings, and is also the only American school ranked in the top four among international institutions. In case you missed the news, read about it here: https://news.asu.edu/20240626-business-and-entrepreneurship-thunderbird-asu-ranked-no-1-qs-international-trade-rankings.
