Dear Friends,

I am thrilled to announce the release of my new book "IT'S YOUR CAMINO: ONE COUPLE'S 500-MILE PILGRIMAGE ACROSS SPAIN," now on Amazon.

After an almost 30 year federal and corporate career, I decided it was time to listen to my inner voice and write. I would tell the story of our Camino.

Hiking from the Pyrenees in France to Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, the destination of the Way of St. James, had always been a dream for my wife, Aurora, and me. To walk the 500-mile Camino, much the way pilgrims have been walking the sacred pilgrimage route for more than a thousand years, was both a physical and a mental challenge. But we wouldn't have had it any other way.

If you'd like to join Aurora and me on this journey, the book (and Kindle) is now available for pre-order, so why not grab a copy (or two). If you are seeking adventure, spirituality and the search for meaning, then "It's Your Camino: One Couple's 500-mile Pilgrimage Across Spain" is the book for you.

You can pre-order here:
Kindle: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VLTGM1H
Paperback: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1098837886

For further details, visit my author website "kennethstrange.com"
A shout out to my global Thunderbird Alumni Network. My new book, "It's Your Camino: One Couple's 500-mile Pilgrimage Across Spain" is coming out at the end of this month with Amazon. If you enjoy travel, spirituality and Spain, then you'll enjoy this book. Buen Camino!

Arthur Peterson Obituary (1926 - 2023) - Riverside, CA - The Press-Enterprise 04/19/2023

A Message from Director General and Dean Dr. Sanjeev Khagram:

My dearest T-birds, it is with a heavy heart I share the news of the passing of our beloved former Thunderbird President, Dr. Arthur Peterson. He was also a pilot, politician, academic, and author. His contributions to the Thunderbird community and the global business world will always be remembered and cherished.

Dr. Peterson served as the President of Thunderbird from 1966 to 1969, where he helped establish Thunderbird's global reputation. In just three years, he doubled enrollment, put forth a nationwide publicity campaign, began $3.4 million of construction, started English as a Second Language, and developed the 48 credit-hour Master‘s Degree. It was also during this time that the School changed its name to Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management. His visionary leadership and commitment to excellence laid the foundation for Thunderbird's continued success.

Shannon Walker, Thunderbird’s Archivist, has shared an oral history interview, available on the Arizona Memory Project’s website. Listen to learn more about Dr. Peterson’s impact on Thunderbird here: https://lnkd.in/gtV_GZZi

A memorial service to honor Dr. Peterson's life and legacy will be held at noon on Saturday, April 29 at Flabob Airport in the EAA Chapter One Stits Hanger in Riverside, CA.

He was a prolific scholar, and a respected mentor to countless students, faculty members, and business leaders around the world. We extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Peterson's family and loved ones during this difficult time. We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and will honor his memory by continuing to uphold Thunderbird's values of educating global leaders who create inclusive and sustainable prosperity worldwide.

With gratitude,

Dr. Sanjeev Khagram
