Training a House Manager Is About More Than Managing a House.

A strong sober living house manager must be willing and prepared to work with people in different stages of recovery, including individuals navigating mental health and behavioral health challenges.

This role is more than collecting fees, assigning chores, enforcing curfew, or conducting house meetings. It requires patience, consistency, boundaries, accountability, compassion, communication, and leadership.

We aren’t just training people to manage houses. We’re training leaders who understand that how you lead can impact someone’s recovery journey.

Accountability. Structure. Compassion. Lead with heart.

Recovery is personal, and there is no single path that works for everyone.

For some, it’s AA, CA, NA, or Celebrate Recovery. For others, it may be church, therapy, counseling, exercise, a strong support system, or a combination of many things.

The important thing is finding the tools that help YOU stay grounded, accountable, and committed to your recovery.

Your journey doesn’t have to look like someone else’s to be meaningful. Use what works. Stay connected. Keep growing. And never stop choosing your recovery. 💚💙

This week, protect your peace, stay in your lane, and keep your focus on YOUR recovery. Don’t let one moment, one person, or one situation take you away from everything you’ve worked so hard for.

Take a moment today and recognize how far you’ve come. Keep going. 💜

One day at a time. One better choice at a time.

Recovery is possible. ✨

Your past may be part of your story, but it does not have to determine your future. Every day you choose healing, growth, and recovery, you are choosing a better tomorrow.

You are stronger than what you’ve been through. You are bigger than the mistakes you’ve made. And no matter where you are in your journey, keep going. A better you is ahead. ❤️

One decision. One day. One step at a time.

People. Purpose. Possibilities.

Everybody with advice doesn’t have experience. And everybody with a sober living home doesn’t know how to run one successfully. 👀

That’s a lesson worth learning BEFORE someone else’s bad advice costs you time, money, or your reputation.

We’re down to #2 of my Top 10 Reasons Sober Living Homes Fail: taking advice from unlicensed, unsuccessful sober living owners.

Be careful who you allow to teach you this business.

I believe in learning from people who have actually done the work, built the systems, dealt with the challenges, maintained standards, and sustained successful recovery housing.

Because sometimes the most expensive advice you’ll ever receive is the advice you got for FREE.

Surround yourself with experience, not excuses.

The right mentorship can save you from years of unnecessary and costly mistakes.

If you’re serious about opening a sober living home or strengthening the one you already operate, I offer one-on-one sober living consulting.
