Liam has been in Phoenix Children's Chorus for 7 years, singing in Cadet, Concert, Bravo, Tutti, Encore & Dolce.
Advice he has for someone new to PCC: "I would tell someone joining PCC to just enjoy it. There will be many long nights of failed memory checks or bad days when it's hard to imagine still having to go to rehearsal, and while I remembered it was worth it through tours and performances, this past year I've really started to focus on the moments in between. Before the standing ovations in the Cathedrals, there were a hundreds of beautiful run-throughs in rehearsal and many more laughs with my friends. I think it's important to look forward to the big moments, but also enjoy the smaller ones and cherish what you have because as I'll be learning soon, it sadly won't last forever."
From the entire PCC family, congratulations Liam!

Cassie has been in Phoenix Children's Chorus for 7 years, singing in Cadet, Concert, Bravo, Encore & Dolce.
Advice she has for someone new to PCC: ""Go all in! You can spend your entire time in this organization showing up right on time, singing the music, and leaving as soon as rehearsal ends with no penalty. But in doing so, youβll miss out on one of the most valuable gifts PCC has to offer: community. If you put yourself out there the connections you make will become more than just people you see on Tuesday nights, they will become a family. :)"
From the entire PCC family, congratulations Cassie!

Danica has been in Phoenix Children's Chorus for 10 years, singing in Prep, Vivace, Bravo, & Encore.
Advice she has for someone new to PCC: "The work you put in is exactly the experience you get out. It may be cliche, but itβs true. If you want to have an amazing year, you have to stay on top of learning the material in order to make it something really special. But this doesnβt go for just the music. The real magic this organization brings comes from the connections you make week to week. So you need to make sure you nurture those relationships as well so when your time to leave comes, you know that itβs left better than you found it."
From the entire PCC family, congratulations Danica!

Encore had the honor of performing last week for a truly special celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Phoenix and Himeji, Japan.
It was a joy to share this moment with community leaders and guests from both cities, including Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and Himeji Mayor Hideyasu Kiyomoto. We were especially grateful to welcome Mayor Kiyomoto and his delegation to Phoenix after our unforgettable tour in Japan this past summer where they welcomed us so warmly.
Seeing these relationships continue to grow through music and cultural exchange was incredibly meaningful, and we are so honored to have been invited to be part of this celebration.
