A little creativity, a lot of personality, and some seriously talented artists!

At our annual choir retreat in August, our Presto choristers created their own self-portraits and painted frames to match. This past week, they finally got to bring their masterpieces home, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they turned out!

We love seeing our choristers express themselves in so many ways, both through music and art. Every voice matters, and every artist has their own story to tell!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ALL-STATE CHORISTERS!

We are so proud to celebrate three of our talented high school choristers who have earned spots in Arizona All-State ensembles.

- Micah was selected for both All-State Jazz Choir and All-State Show Choir and has chosen to participate in All-State Jazz Choir.
- Jocelyn was selected for All-State Jazz Choir.
- Daphne was selected for All-State Show Choir.

🎶 Do you remember… the 26th night of September? 🎶

Because WE DO.

Still thinking about this one and riding the high from Elemental at Tempe Center for the Arts! Our choristers brought the energy, the talent, and ALL the feels to the stage, and they absolutely crushed it.

From the first note to the final bow, they showed up, gave it their all, and reminded us why we love what we do. We couldn’t be more proud of these incredible choristers!

But don’t let the memories stop here! Come support our Bravo and Encore choristers at the free Legacy Concert on October 24, then join us for our winter concert series, Glad Tidings, on December 5 & 6. Tickets go on sale soon on our website!

🌟 VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH 🌟

We’re kicking off a new series celebrating the incredible volunteers who help make Phoenix Children’s Chorus possible! Each month, we’ll recognize two volunteers who have gone above and beyond to support our choristers, staff, and PCC community.

PRESTO | Corina Carvajal
A huge thank you to Corina for all of her time, energy, and support, both at camp and in rehearsals! Her willingness to jump in, help wherever needed, and be there for our choristers and staff makes such a difference.

CANTO | Kayli Padilla
A heartfelt thank you to Kayli for being such a wonderful, dependable, and enthusiastic part of the Canto volunteer team! Her positive spirit and willingness to help make her an invaluable part of the PCC community.

Corina and Kayli, thank you for showing up, pitching in, and supporting PCC in all the ways you do. PCC is stronger because of volunteers like you, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and commitment you give to our choristers and staff.

We had a great morning on FOX 10 Talks!

Our Artistic & Executive Director Troy Meeker and senior chorister Micah joined the hosts of FOX 10 Talks this morning to talk about all things Phoenix Children’s Chorus!

They chatted about our upcoming Elemental Fall Concert, featuring music inspired by the elements around us, from earth, fire, wind, and water to light, as well as upcoming auditions and what’s ahead for PCC!

ELEMENTAL: PCC’s Fall Concert is THIS SATURDAY!

Get ready for an afternoon of music, energy, and a little bit of magic as our choirs take the stage for Elemental at Tempe Center for the Arts!

Our seniors will also take the stage for the first time to sing “Why We Sing,” making this a particularly special moment for our graduating choristers.

And we’ll be bringing a little “September” energy to the stage, too!

When: Saturday, September 26 at 3:00pm
Where: Tempe Center for the Arts
