ls. Here, Project Based Learning (PBL), becomes the focus as corporate partners are increasingly involved in resolving issues related to global sustainability and humanitarian causes. Independent learning is further reinforced to continually develop our students’ inquisitive minds and teach them how to ask questions, research data and achieve findings that can be submitted for academic and peer review. MIT celebrated our first Spirit Week of the school year, giving students and staff a chance to show their creativity and Iron Eagle pride! Throughout the week, our campus came to life with themed days including Jersey Day, Twin Day, and BBQ Dad vs. Soccer Mom Day.

Spirit Week was the perfect way to build excitement leading up to our first-ever pep rally in the gym. Thank you to everyone who dressed up, participated, and brought their school spirit each day. From matching with friends to representing favorite teams and embracing their best BBQ Dad or Soccer Mom look, our Iron Eagles made our first Spirit Week one to remember!

MIT held its first pep rally of the school year in the gym, bringing students and staff together for an exciting celebration of school spirit! Students showed off their MIT pride by wearing their class colors and participating in a variety of fun activities and competitions.

Our fall sports athletes faced off in several challenges, with one of the biggest highlights being the Teacher vs. Fall Athletes Tug-of-War! After an intense battle, the teachers claimed the victory!

A special thank you to MIT Student Council for planning and organizing this memorable event! This pep rally was just the first of many exciting events to come as we continue building school spirit and creating memorable experiences for our MIT community.

Genetics came to life in Grade 8 Science!

Students recently put their knowledge to work with “Decoding Inheritance Patterns,” exploring how traits are passed from parents to offspring through Punnett squares, complete dominance, incomplete dominance, and codominance.

From eye color and te****le length to fur patterns and other creative traits, students combined science, math, creativity, and communication to bring their genetic creations to life. 🔬🎨

Great job to our Grade 8 scientists for making heredity and probability so creative, visual, and fun!
