Last Thursday, May 21, we celebrated an incredible group of students and all of the hard work, growth, and achievements they accomplished throughout the school year. We are so proud of each and every one of you and cannot wait to see what your future holds.

We are excited to share a unique opportunity to support neurodivergent young adults in our community! Science Prep Academy, in partnership with Banner Desert Medical Center and the University of Arizona Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities, has open enrollment for our Grade 13 Project SEARCH Internship in Mesa, AZ.

This intensive, full-year program is designed for autistic young adults ages 16-24, providing:

* Real workplace experience through three 10-week rotations at Banner Desert Medical Center
* Classroom instruction and career exploration
* Social-emotional support, life skills training, and pathways to employment

With only 10 seats available for the 2026-2027 school year, we are reaching out to invite you to join us in supporting these incredible students. Your advocacy and engagement can help open doors to meaningful careers and independence for neurodivergent individuals in Maricopa County.
