It is in the neighborhood bordered by Dunlap Avenue on the south and Peoria Avenue on the north, from 35th Avenue to 43rd Avenue.

Cactus Wren Elementary School, in the Washington Elementary School District, serves more than 400 kindergarten through sixth grade children and houses one of the center-based special education programs in the District. Our 5th and 6th graders had so much fun at our Glow Party last Friday! All 5th and 6th graders who demonstrated positive behavior during the 4th quarter got VIP Access with a live DJ, snacks, face painting, and glow accessories! We are so proud of these kiddos for working so hard! 🌟🐾

Our staff all came together to prank Ms. Shipe with “anything but a thank you balloon!” We had way too much fun handing her balloons throughout the day! Our amazing students also surprised her with gratitude cards and notes. Happy Principal’s Day! 🐾
