Seniors if you are interested invested in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), know that Gateway Community College is offering a scholarship in the Gateway Stem Program. Door of Opportunity Scholarship now available. This scholarship is worth $12,500 over four years. Please see the below flyer or visit the website to gather more information. No GPA requirement, this is a scholarship looking for students with financial need. Deadline is June 1st at 5PM Eastern (2pm AZ time.

There will be a ZOOM meeting on April 29th at 1PM to discuss the scholarship further with the scholarship agency.

SENIORS! CAP AND GOWN UPDATE!

Jostens will be on site next week to distribute caps and gowns.
Thursday, April 8th - In the Auditorium Lobby During Lunches from 10:25am – 12:45pm & after school from 2:30pm-4:00pm. They will bring extra caps and gowns for those students that have not purchased. Cost- $50.00- cash, cashiers check, all major credit cards.

This scholarship is for those students who have received tutoring services and are pursuing post-secondary education. There will be 2 awards given out, a $1,500 scholarship and a $1,000 scholarship. If you are interested in attending community college, there are some excellent opportunities to get you transitioned. Know that all February long, Maricopa Community College has sessions on Mondays from 3pm – 4pm to work with you on this process. Also know that on Monday March 29th, 2021 and Tuesday April 6th, 2021 will be Maricopa Virtual Enrollment Days. The following colleges are participating. We will encourage all seniors to return any books, uniforms or school property if it is no longer needed. Students can extend their use of the laptop they borrowed if they want some extra time to improve their third quarter grades
