STEM | GateWay Community College 04/23/2021

Seniors if you are interested invested in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), know that Gateway Community College is offering a scholarship in the Gateway Stem Program. Up to $7000 a year can be provided. Must show financial need as per the FAFSA. Visit website for more details. DEADLINE TUESDAY MAY 25, 2021.

STEM | GateWay Community College Access to Maricopa Community Colleges critical operating systems has been restored. System updates for the college online chat function and voice mail system are currently in process.

Door of Opportunity Scholarship now available. This scholarship is worth $12,500 over four years. Please see the below flyer or visit the website to gather more information. No GPA requirement, this is a scholarship looking for students with financial need. Deadline is June 1st at 5PM Eastern (2pm AZ time.

There will be a ZOOM meeting on April 29th at 1PM to discuss the scholarship further with the scholarship agency.

SENIORS! CAP AND GOWN UPDATE!

Jostens will be on site next week to distribute caps and gowns.
Thursday, April 8th - In the Auditorium Lobby During Lunches from 10:25am – 12:45pm & after school from 2:30pm-4:00pm. They will bring extra caps and gowns for those students that have not purchased. Cost- $50.00- cash, cashiers check, all major credit cards.

Seniors, If you've received assistance from the Suns Central Tutoring program while you've attended Central High School, know that the 2021 Suns Central Scholarship Application is available to CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY! This scholarship is for those students who have received tutoring services and are pursuing post-secondary education. There will be 2 awards given out, a $1,500 scholarship and a $1,000 scholarship. DEADLINE IS APRIL 23, 2021. Visit Central Counseling's Scholarship Wall to download the application.

Hello Bobcat students and families! Please complete the school registration and select either online learning or in-person learning by this Friday, March 5th. If you do not complete the process, your student will be automatically placed in online learning for 4th quarter.

Get help with FAFSA, check in with Colleges (Next week is the last week for college info sessions) and don't forget about Maricopa Community College's Virtual Enrollment Day(s). Get registered for Community College and be set to go for Fall 2021! See below for details.

Maricopa Community Colleges Express Enrollment Days are next month! This is an opportunity to meet with a college advisor, discuss career options and pick out your college classes for next year.
