Coach Matthew Dearing explains why in improv, it is of extreme importance to use your voice on stage.

Being brave and bold with your voice and your choices welcomes the audience into your reality and what they are watching becomes real to them.

Being too quiet is selfish when you are performing for an audience, they should never have to lean in to hear what you are saying.

Don’t Joke Hunt

Coach Matthew Dearing answering a student improv question about the short form improv game “character switch”

At our studio we believe in grounding everything in reality and truth and trusting that that the “funny” will come from there.

All levels are welcome, our adults improv classes are on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8:00pm.

September classes are enrolling now, start your journey! 🤩
