Congratulations Ms. Perla! We ❤️ you!!!

We continue with our October 2023 Employee of the Month spotlights with Perla Lugo Castro, office manager at Lakeview Elementary School.

On campus, Perla is known for being the face of the office and demonstrating strong leadership skills by guiding the office team with clarity, empathy and professionalism. She is a master at delegating tasks, resolving conflict and fostering a positive work environment for all staff. Perla even takes the initiative to identify and address issues and opportunities before they become significant problems or missed chances for improvement. In her role, Perla also goes above and beyond to take care of all students and families. Perla has spent the last few years getting to know as many families as possible, and has even made it a goal this year to build better relationships with those she does not know as well. Additionally, she is an amazing listener and never fails to provide parents with the proper resources or point them in the right direction. Perla’s colleagues describe her as a listener, hardworking and compassionate.
